The series of crime and thrillers takes place in the 1970s and in the very first teaser trailer the protagonist, Roman Compte ( Danny Pino ) is welcomed back to 1978, the year that cocaine first appeared on the streets that were sweltering with sun in Miami.
Roman manages the Mutiny Hotel which is the most loved club in town. Moreover, their brother, who is the largest cocaine smuggler, and his sole job is to make everybody around him content. However, Roman isn’t able to please everyone since the law does not favor Roman, in particular in the shape of Michael Chiklis , who wants to know all about the business of Roman’s brother.
A luxurious hotel located set on Biscayne Bay, in Miami, Florida, the Mutiny Hotel was a frequent hangout for the wealthy and famous throughout the 1970s and 1980s including the members from Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin and Crosby & Nash, who even wrote a song in tribute to the club’s patrons. The club. However, the club became famous for a different type of clientele that was referred to as “cocaine cowboys,” from the time when drugs were a common sight throughout the city.
