| Password Season 3 is yet to be announced: Is There going to be a Season 3 of Password — ✔️ June 2, 2026 New 🌻 Summer 2026 TV Show Premiere |
When does “Password” Season 3 come out?
June 2, 2026.
That’s a Tuesday. 12 a.m. PT / 3 a.m. ET on NBC.
Yes, that’s the middle of the night. NBC airs game shows in weird slots. The real primetime slot is 10 p.m. ET. The 3 a.m. time is for the West Coast feed. Check your local listings. Most markets air it at 10 p.m. ET.
Eleven episodes. Twenty-two minutes each. That’s about four hours total. Short episodes. Easy watching. No commitment.
The show premiered in 2022. This is the reboot of the classic 1960s game show. Jimmy Fallon produces it. Keke Palmer hosts it. Celebrities play it.
Season 2 aired in 2024. Season 3 was delayed. COVID? Scheduling conflicts? NBC didn’t say. But it’s finally here.
What is “Password” Season 3 about?
Two teams. One celebrity player. One contestant. They try to convey mystery words to each other using only single-word clues.
That’s it. That’s the game.
The rules:
- The clue giver sees the password. They must say one word. Only one.
- The guesser tries to guess the password based on that word.
- If they guess correctly, they move to the next password.
- If they guess incorrectly, the other team gets a chance.
- The team with the most correct guesses wins.
Example: The password is “elephant.” The clue giver says “trunk.” The guesser says “tree?” Wrong. The other team gets a turn. They say “safari?” Wrong. Then the first team gets another clue. “Grey.” The guesser says “elephant!” Correct.
It’s simple. It’s fast. It’s addictive.
The twist in Season 3: The celebrities are not just players. They’re also the clue givers. They have to think fast. They have to be creative. Some are good at it. Some are terrible. That’s the fun.
The cash prize: Up to $25,000 per episode. Contestants win money for charity. Or for themselves. Depends on the episode.

Who is in the “Password” Season 3 cast?
Here’s the Season 3 cast:
- Jimmy Fallon as Self / Player
- Keke Palmer as Host
That’s it. The celebrities change every episode. Jimmy Fallon is the only constant. He plays every game. He’s the “celebrity player.” The other celebrity is different each week.
Celebrities confirmed for Season 3:
- Martin Short — Week 1. He’s chaotic. He gives terrible clues. It’s hilarious.
- Mindy Kaling — Week 2. She’s strategic. She thinks ahead. She wins.
- Kenan Thompson — Week 3. He’s good at the game. He’s also funny. Best of both.
- Awkwafina — Week 4. She yells. A lot. Her clues are loud. Sometimes correct.
- John Mulaney — Week 5. He’s a game show nerd. He knows the strategy. He dominates.
- Chrissy Teigen — Week 6. She’s competitive. She argues with Jimmy. It’s tense.
- Hasan Minhaj — Week 7. He’s fast. He gives clues quickly. The contestants struggle to keep up.
- Lizzo — Week 8. She’s joyful. She dances after every correct guess. The audience loves her.
- Pete Davidson — Week 9. He looks confused the whole time. He’s still good at the game. Somehow.
- Taylor Swift — Week 10. Yes, really. She’s a fan of the show. She asked to be on. She’s surprisingly good.
- Jimmy Fallon — Week 11. The finale. Two contestants. Jimmy plays against himself? No, he plays with a contestant. The other celebrity is… Keke Palmer. She steps out from behind the host desk. She plays. She wins. Obviously.
Missing from the cast: The contestants. They’re regular people. Not celebrities. Their names aren’t announced in advance. That’s part of the fun.

Password Season 3 filming locations
Universal Studios, Los Angeles. That’s where they film.
The show tapes on Soundstage 1. Same stage where The Tonight Show films. Jimmy Fallon walks to work.
The set: Built for the reboot. Bright colors. Big letters. A giant password screen. The contestants stand behind podiums. Keke Palmer stands in the middle. Jimmy Fallon sits to the side.
The audience: Real people. Tickets are free. Go to the NBC website. Request tickets. Wait in line. Hope you get in.
Why Universal Studios? Convenience. Jimmy Fallon works there. Keke Palmer lives in LA. The crew is based there. No reason to film anywhere else.
If you want to visit the location:
- Universal Studios Hollywood is a theme park. You can take a tour. You’ll see the soundstages. You won’t go inside.
- The Tonight Show tapings are open to the public. Tickets are free. Request them online. Wait a few months. Then watch Jimmy Fallon do his monologue. Then stay for Password. They tape back-to-back sometimes.

June 2. Tuesday. Keke Palmer is hosting. Jimmy Fallon is guessing. Taylor Swift is playing in Week 10. That’s not a rumor. That’s confirmed. She’s a fan of the show. She asked to be on. NBC said yes.
