Casting a black actor as Nate is pure political correctness and capitulation to the woke mob. How many black Polish guys are there in Wyoming? Zero.
Since there were Polish people in Wyoming and there were Black people there also coming into the territory to work in the mines. Who knows? Also, they are just actors playing the part of people that CJ created.
Woke movement creates their own facts.
I agree, should follow the picketts novels a little more and cast the peiple right. Will go along with black Nate if he acts like the nate in the snovels and he did not
Pieple? That must be woke spelling
First, Nate doesn’t even come into the books until the 3rd one, so that didn’t fit to begin with. That said, if I was a black guy living off the grid, I might pick a name like Romanowski and hide out in Wyoming just to throw the bad guys off.
Romanowski was not his real last name, even if it was, his great great great great grandfather may have been polish. This was actually an alias.
STFU You racist POS! You can woke mov my balls!
Wow…you may be on to something. Maybe when your QAnon buddies get out of prison you guys can storm Spectrum Headquarters.
Just an excellent show. Captivating and well played. I hope it just doesn’t end after we put our time and interest in watching. For some reason the powers that be don’t really care about the people out there watching a series. They just dump on us and move on. Getting tired of it. Don’t do this to Joe Pickett.
Completely agree. We have 10 episodes invested because this is a good series. Listen to your viewers. Keep it coming.
Really enjoyed the show. Can’t wait for season 2. Thank you Spectrum.
Spectrum started this series they should finish it. what I’m thinking Joe Pickett was such a good series Spectrum probably wants to charge for the 2 ND Series .🤬 money hungry
Amen to that. The series reminds me of both Justified that starred Timothy Oliphant, and Yellowstone. Great plot and cast, a show that is bingeworthy and thrilling.
You said “For some reason “. That reason would be “Money”. Always is…
Great series,sure hope it returns.
Love, love, love, Joe Pickett and all the novels. The first episode was a little slow and then it really picked up. Let’s have a second season. I get so sick of all the good shows being cancelled and all these “reality” shows on tv. Keep up the good work, please.
Joe Pickett was great, i absolutely loved it and i hope they bring Season 2 very soon!!
Love this show great story and cast. Please give us season 2
Just watched Joe Pickett. Loved it and sorry to see it end. A second season is a must. I am already anxiously awaiting.
I too would enjoy a couple more seasons of Joe Pickett, but real soon if possible!!
I would love to watch more also. I thought it was a truly wonderful show. I can’t wait for more.
Season one was great. I’ve read all of the books in the Pickett series and I can’t wait to see the pieces developed in season one come together in season two. There will be season two won’t there?
Great show. One of the best!
Joe Pickett is absolutely the best new series that I have seen in a long time. Actors are wonderful and the show feels authentic. Thank you spectrum. Please give us more!!!
I totally agree! Bring on Season 2!
Great show, can’t wait until season 2 comes out
I didn’t like it at first but thought keep watching and now I really love it..yes the first two episodes are alittle slow then you get hooked!!
Hope they do another season!!
Please
It took until near the end of episode one to get really good
Great show! I have read all of the books & hope there will be a season two. The acting is great & the show tells a good story! It’s also a clean show – no bad words or sexual content. Refreshing!!
I agree with you except they need to stop using the Lords name in vain not needed.
Oakes…hmmmm
We love this show, hope it has a second season. Only one thing we didn’t like is the use of Rottweilers as killer dogs. We have Rottweilers, not appreciated. Could have come up with a different senario. But still like show. It’s nice to gave something different. Thanks for listening
Rots are great dogs, I absolutely love them for family pets. But they can be taught to be vicious, and when they are they do major damage.
Very pleased with the series Joe Pickett. One of the best that Spectrum has offered. Not sure how many episodes are in season one but I reading there could be a season two? I sure will be watching. Hoping for 10 episodes in season one.
Loved Joe Pickett and really got in to it. But was sorely disappointed when the show just stopped with no resolution and answers to the complex plot. Spectrum, please be more responsive to your customers and let us know if and when there will be a season 2.
This has been a EXCELLENT first season. Ready for season 2 ASAP!!!!!!!!!
Loved this series. Please bring a season 2. Need answers how the evil people plays out
I so enjoyed the Joe Pickett series. I’m worn out with the ridiculous reality shows, but this a great story line that was family oriented. Also, I was so wonderful not to hear all the disgusting four letter words! More of Joe Pickett PLEASE!
I too have read all the books. I live in the rural west & like many find the books characters & culture oddly familiar! For those story lines that moved beyond relatability for me, Box gently but persistently educated & pulled me along until I was willing to take the plunge. I feel that this is missing in the TV series. Understanding that it takes time to build characters whether in book form or in the screenwriting process, the end result is that connection or trust that pulls one along. I think the cast is as wonderful as the background/landscape is breathtaking. In the books Joe Pickett has moments that result in unflattering situations but which bring life & color to each story. Unfortunately Pickett’s TV character comes across to me as that of a ‘lost puppy’ full of uncertainty & lacking in confidence. He definitely needs to get rid of the hat. You can’t beat a Stetson. Yes, Pickett suffers embarrassing moments in the books, but he always comes across as his own man…yes, conflicted at times but his own man. As a man who frequently suffers flashbacks of childhood trauma, flashbacks that are very important to his character, those repeated flashbacks very often appear just as real-time critical moments in the story are unfolding leaving the viewer to try & process both events simultaneously. It is a lot to process & may not do either event justice. I hope C.J. Box finds the right folks to bring this back. There’s a lot of us that believe these stories would hold up solidly on screen.
Loved the Joe Pickett series!!! Hoping for another one soon. Ready to read the last 3 books in the series. Love this character.
Really enjoyed Season 1 of Joe Picket on so many levels. Before this I didn’t even know there was a Wyoming !
Really…Well done.
Listen to your viewers and give us a Season 2, please.
Sincerely , Annie Bergin.
Excellent series me and my wife really got into this show. Can’t wait for season 2 to start.
Can’t wait for more. I love this show
Season 2 appears to be elusive. It is bad business for Spectrum to leave fans hanging but its a tradition with Spectrum to be non-responsive whether it is with programming, service or programming. Clearly, Spectrum is unreliable and not ready for prime time
Please set us straight on if there will be a season 2 and if so, when. Lots of Spectrum customers out here wondering
Fantastic show!!
Loved Joe Pickett. Great actors and great writing. I sure hope to see more. Would like to see what happens to Nate & the Scarlett’s. Please keep the series going. We are hard pressed for good shows
This book series and the characters are so great, really loved this show with the scenery, stories and cast. I am so tired of watching cop, hospital or fire shows. This show icaptures an American spirit that gets lost in modern television. Hopefully you will give us the gift of more seasons, i mean 22 books, plenty of material to capture the same audience that devoured Longmire and now Yellowstone and 1883. Thank you!
One of the best dramas in years, Michael Dorman is fantastic as Game Warden Joe Pickett, just finished 8 9 and season finale tonight! Can’t wait till Season 2!! 😀
Was so refreshing for such a heartfelt series with all the reality shows that are more scripted than this I would welcome another season
I loved this series. I thought every actor was wonderful and well cast. Please bring on series 2. Want to know what happened to Joe’s family members.
The show is great who cares about Nate he is a good actor so he is black hey I’m white big. Deal much better then Yellowstone Kevin Costner has nothing on my Joe Pickett he is great the whole cast
Great cast and a great show!! Cant wait fir the next season!!!
I agree. Good show
The show is great. I’d rather watch Joe Pickett then yellow stone. The cast was very diverse. Season 2 would be more then welcomed.
Love the series- can’t wait for series #2. ❤️
Great show! Season 2 is a must. So many books in this series that you have a lot of stories to work with for many years.
This is the best series I have seen for many, many years. All the actors were great, Skywalker Hughes stood out as an awsome child actor who (I hope) has a very sucessful career ahead of her.
Bring in Season 2 of Joe Pickett!! PLEASE!!!!
I do hope there is more to come but the Joe Pickett screen character does not square with the Joe Pickett book character. He needs a solid dose of testosterone and machismo to be easily recognized by the dedicated followers of C.J. Box. And knock off the politically correct nonsense. It is painful to watch. The author does not play in that arena.
A good series in many ways. A very good cast of mostly unknowns to start with, excellant production values and filming locations makes for a very realistic mystery story. Drawbacks? Start with the extremely slow pacing in the beginning episodes in particular, and flashbacks and flashbacks within flashbacks that drove me crazy and really added nothing to the story. Conversations about nothing or maybe critical to the story were hard to decipher one from the other. Chapters 8, 9, 10 tie the whole story together, but the ending is completely sappy and overlong in Chapter 10. So essentially a nice try but no cigar.
Great show!! Keep season 2 coming!!
I didn’t think i’d like this series, not into anything outdoors, wildlife, blood and guts etc ..
But i could not stop watching!
I loved everything, wasn’t anything I thought I would Like.
They did it well by humanizing Joe in the beginning. Got everyone to watch and they lived it.
Can’t wait for more seasons. Being there’s so many books they shouldn’t run out of stories.
I thought it was terrific. I am ready for Season 2. Don’t let us down. I loved it.
I have read all of the Joe Picket Novels. Each would make a damn fine stand alone movie.
The last time I enjoyed a modern day western so much was the six year series Justified.
Can’t wait for a season 2, 3, 4, 5, etc. Loved it.
Have read all Chuck Box has written, met him at book signings and even shared a few meals. Remember him talking about TV or movie rights and how production had to be right or wouldn’t happen. If he’s involved, I trust him to be true to his art. That said, sure no one has everything they want when their work moves from written to screen. I eagerly await season 2, minor warts and all. Will wait on development of Nate character; as retired SF officer not my perception, but if Chuck OK, I’m OK.
Love the series and the actors. I have read all the books and realize that film makers change some things for better plot development. I have even taken university classes that read several novels and then watched the movie. Most were not very well done but this series does a good job of character development and plot. Really enjoy it and hope there will be more.
Thought the series was good and can accept some of the slight changes and hope if there is a Season 2,Joe will work on styling his Open Road Stetson…looks as if it just came out of the box and doesn’t in my opinion conform to the numerous references to Joe’s hat on the books…
We love, love, love this series, one of our all time favorites. Please let there be more seasons!!!!
Where is the 11th episode?? Got to have MORE! Is there an 11th episode,??? It says so on Spectrum.
SEASON 2!! SEASON 2!! What Spectrum viewers want (at the very least) is….
SEASON 2!!
My husband and I really enjoyed the 1season. We so seldom watch T.V any more because of the PC verbiage. It was just nice to watch a good drama. Hoping for season 2.
This show was great! I hope this cast is kept and we get to enjoy at least a few more seasons of Joe!!
Really enjoyed season one of Joe Pickett. Hope to see a second season. Well done Spectrum.
Just finished watching season 1. Can’t wait until the second season starts!
Just finished watching series loved it.
Cheers to JPS2 congratulations cast & all involved.
Watched season one over the holiday weekend and really liked it was looking forward to watching season two only to find out it’s not yet available. Looking forward to watching the next season.
