A fresh version of Scott Turow’s best-selling novel. If the title and plot are familiar, it could be so. In the year 1990, Harrison Ford played the character now played by Gyllenhaal. Following the grisly murder and a gruesome murder, it is discovered that the Chicago prosecution office has been in turmoil as prosecutor Rusty Sabich (Jake Gyllenhaal) is believed to be the perpetrator. The suspect is determined for his life to hold the family unit and establish his innocence.
Rusty Sabich, a respected prosecutor in Chicago who is a well-known prosecutor in Chicago, has his life drastically altered when he is the most wanted suspect in the murder case of his lover. Despite his plea of not guilty and conviction, he is sentenced life imprisonment without the potential for parole. Six years after eager to establish his innocence Sabich is released under bail. He decides to take things to his own and seeks out the true murderer.
In 1987, the book “Presumed Innocent”, by Scott Turow, quickly fascinated many people, possibly due to the fact that in addition the complexities of a legal investigation it sheds light on the grey spaces of the human mind.
The story begins with the shocking discovery of the gruesomely murdered body of beautiful Carolyn Polhemus, who was the lover of Rusty Sabich, the deputy of a prosecutor during the election campaign, Ray Horgan, and Ray Horgan’s accomplice. The deputy loses his job due to the murder, which Rusty is soon indicted under the guidance by a newly appointed prosecutor, and the overwhelming evidence.
