True Lies Storyline
True Lies is based on James Cameron’s 1994 movie of the same title. True Lies follows Harry Tasker who is a top international spy working for the U.S. security agency Omega Sector, and his wife, Helen, a language professor who is bored by her everyday routine. Helen quickly discovers the truth about Harry being a spy and is then enlisted for the life of a spy. This change is a crucial spark in their relationship.
A sloppy housewife is shocked to discover that her husband, who is not well-known and works as a Computer consultant is actually an international spy. She’s thrown into a life of adventure and danger when she’s enlisted to help him in rescuing the world while they attempt to save their marriage which isn’t exactly loving. The wife is asked to work with him on a dangerous task and is also trying to bring back their marriage.
This incarnation of Harry has been described as a ‘beautiful, play-it-safe, presumably risk-taking computer salesman, and devoted family man who is married to two children. However, in the real world, Harry is an undercover agent, a top-quality spy employed by a secret American security agency.’ The network had made a preliminary agreement, and the plan was a failure before seeing the sunlight of the day.
