Secret Chef Storyline & Synopsis
The director of the show, Executive Producer Chef David Chang, comes with a fun twist on the food-related competition show. Ten contestants from different kinds of backgrounds from professional chefs to household cooks, to influencers on social media, are confined to a secluded underground kitchen labyrinth that is connected with conveyor belts.
With the help of a playful animated talking hat, The chefs are instructed to complete a series of cooking tasks. But there aren’t judges and the chefs are required to evaluate each other’s dishes through blind tasting tests. However, there are no judges. Instead, contestants evaluate the final dishes of each other through blind-tasting tests. While their identities are kept secret all information is kept secret, with the exception of the one thing that is important most – food.
Every quiz will take place in an underground kitchen maze, which is hidden and linked by a set of conveyor belts. Unique spaces where contestants must be steadfast and fight to win as they receive instructions from a talking head that is animated. In contrast to other cooking competitions in “Secret Chef,” the chefs will test one another in tasting tests where the only thing that counts is the food and not the writers.
