Alfonso (Pietro Sermonti) isn’t exactly a remarkable person. He is as a prisoner of the past traumas that he never experienced (mainly due to the relationship between their parents ) and has a few issues regarding his spouse Margherita (Ambra Angiolini). If his dad Giacomo (Christian De Sica) suffers an attack of the heart and demands his son for help to be released from the hospital Alfonso comes face with the person whom he believes is responsible for all of his “problems with life”.
The gathering, however, offers a chance to chat about the past. Giacomo uncovers a shocking fact in front of his young son. he’s not an antiques dealer rather a gigolo. The revelation is shocking to Alfonso who, following an unfortunate series of events that have caused him to face severe financial difficulties is compelled to follow the footsteps of his father and take the place of his clients. This new way of living a sexual (and non-sexual) life will completely alter Alfonso’s routines and he’ll discover a new appreciation of the world of women and his personal development.
The character the actor portrays is extremely rational but extremely traumatized. He wants revenge and achieves it through involuntary means, the female counterpart to his wife shifts the roles and makes sure that people can see the vulnerability of males. The character that Puglielli performs is a reflection of the personas of his character.
The film is co-produced with Amazon Studios with Mattia Guerra, Stefano Massenzi, Andrea Occhipinti for Lucky Red, Gigolo per Accident is directed by Eros Puglielli. Daniela Delle Follie and Tommaso Renzoni wrote the story and screenplay.
