Jim and Julia after an amicable separation, can rear their children at the home they share with their children while making their own decisions about who stays with their children. In the midst of navigating separation and custody gets more difficult to Jim when Trey owner of his beloved team of sports, comes into the picture and woos Julia’s heart.
It’s over and NBC is now able to resume its mid-season programming. On the agenda is something brand new (Extended Family) and returning to One Chicago and Law & Order and the beginning of the finale of La Brea and the return of The Irrational which benefits from an extra episode.
The channel has only one brand-new show in the pipeline for its resumption. It’s Extended Family, which marks the return of Jon Cryer as the helm of a sitcom, eight years after the conclusion of My Uncle Charlie. The show was created in the mind of Mike O’Malley and also including Donald Faison, Abigail Spencer, Sofia Capanna and Finn Sweeney The show revolves around Jim and Julia their ex-spouses, who stay in good standing and continue to rear their children at the family home, which has the help of a bearing system. The well-oiled mechanism slams shut when Trey arrives in the frame after he has smashed Julia’s heart, much to the disappointment of her husband.
