The story is told in real-time and follows a group of passengers who travel on an evening train that travels from Glasgow towards London. When the train falls in the hands of hackers and the passengers are afraid for their lives when employees from the National Cyber Security Centre attempt to bring the train to a standstill. There is a suspicion it is possible that a passenger might be cooperating with a hacker.
Created by Nick Leather, the series is a story about an unintentionally hijacked train along the Glasgow-London line, which abruptly finds itself on a route that is not certain and a less-certain destination.
Joe Roag, an off-duty police officer who was an onboard passenger Joe Roag, an off-duty police officer who is a passenger on the train, Abby Aysgarth, acting technical director of the National Cyber Security Centre, are the main players in the battle. For them to stop the train they’ll be able to determine who is behind the whole thing. Are they fighting an enemy government, a terrorist group or organized crime? Who is the self-declared driver who appears to be a more than them?
