| Murder Mindfully Season 3 is yet to be announced: Is There going to be a Season 3 of Murder Mindfully — ✔️ June 4, 2027 New 🌻 Summer 2026 TV Show Premiere |
June 4, 2027. That’s a Friday. 5:30 p.m. PT / 8:30 p.m. ET.
Eight episodes. Thirty minutes each. That’s four hours total. Short episodes. Fast pace. No filler.
Season 1 came out in 2024. Everyone was surprised. A German show about a lawyer who goes to a mindfulness retreat and accidentally becomes a mob killer? Sounds ridiculous. It was. It was also brilliant. Dark. Funny. Weirdly touching.
Season 2 came out in 2025. Even darker. Even funnier. The lawyer, Björn Diemel, had fully embraced his new life. He was killing people mindfully. Breathing exercises before each murder. It was insane. It worked.
Season 3 is the final season. The show was always planned as a trilogy. Three seasons. Eight episodes each. Done. The creator said that in an interview. “I knew the ending before I wrote the beginning.” So Season 3 is the end. No cliffhanger. A real conclusion.
What is Murder Mindfully about?
Björn Diemel. A lawyer. Stressed. Overworked. His marriage is falling apart. He never sees his daughter. He’s miserable.
His boss forces him to go to a mindfulness retreat. “Find your center. Be present. Stop being such a mess.”
Björn goes. He learns to breathe. To meditate. To observe his thoughts without judgment.
Then a mobster asks him for help. Legal help. Björn says no. The mobster insists. Björn kills him. Mindfully. With full awareness. Without attachment to the outcome.
That’s the first episode.
The rest of Season 1 is Björn becoming a mob boss. Accidentally. He doesn’t want to. But he’s good at it. The mindfulness techniques help. He stays calm. He observes. He acts without emotional reaction. It makes him a terrifyingly effective criminal.
Season 2 was about the consequences. His wife found out. His daughter found out. The police got close. Björn had to make choices. He chose the mob. Not because he’s evil. Because he’s good at it. And because he finally feels alive.
Season 3 is about the end. Björn has built an empire. He’s the most powerful criminal in Berlin. But he’s also alone. His wife left him. His daughter won’t speak to him. His only friends are murderers.
The question of Season 3: Can he get out? Does he even want to?
Has Murder Mindfully been renewed for Season 3?
Renewed? Yes. Season 3 is the final season. Already filmed. Already edited. Already translated into English. (The show is filmed in German. English dub is available. The dub is fine. The original German is better. Tom Schilling’s voice is great.)
No Season 4. The creator was clear. “Three seasons. That’s the story. I’m not going to stretch it out.”
Netflix wanted more. The show is popular. Not Squid Game popular. But popular enough. They offered more money. The creator said no. Netflix respected that. They don’t always. But they did this time.
So June 4 is the end. The final eight episodes. Watch them live. Or binge them. Whatever. Just know there’s no more after this.

What do we know about Murder Mindfully Season 3?
Here’s what’s confirmed:
- Final season. Eight episodes. The end of Björn’s story.
- Tom Schilling returns. He’s the lead. The show doesn’t work without him.
- Emily Cox returns as Katharina. Björn’s ex-wife. She’s not in every episode. But when she appears, it’s intense.
- Peter Jordan returns as Joschka Breitner. Björn’s lawyer. Also his conscience. Also his alibi. Complicated relationship.
- New characters. A rival mob boss. A detective who’s too smart. A journalist who gets too close.
- The mindfulness continues. Björn still meditates. Still breathes. Still kills without attachment. But it’s not working anymore. He’s feeling things again. That’s dangerous.
What’s not confirmed (but heavily hinted):
- Someone dies. A main character. The creator said “not everyone makes it to the credits.”
- Björn goes to prison. Or doesn’t. The trailer shows him in an orange jumpsuit. Could be real. Could be a dream.
- The daughter. Emily. She’s older now. Pamuk Pilavci plays her (German). Isis Chanel Chambers voices her (English). She might be the one who ends it all. The trailer shows her holding a phone. Crying. Saying “I know what you did.” Chills.
What could happen in Murder Mindfully Season 3?
The Season 2 finale ended with Björn walking away from an explosion. His enemies were inside. He didn’t look back. He just breathed. In. Out. Then he called his daughter. She didn’t answer.
Season 3 picks up right there.
Episode 1: The aftermath. The police investigate the explosion. Björn has an alibi. Joschka provided it. But the detective isn’t convinced. New character. A woman. Very smart. Very patient. Björn’s equal.
Episode 2: A rival mob boss makes a move. Björn’s territory is shrinking. He has to decide: fight or negotiate. He chooses fight. Mindfully.
Episode 3: Katharina shows up. She needs help. Someone is threatening her. Björn wants to protect her. She doesn’t want his help. Complicated.
Episode 4: The journalist. She’s writing a story about organized crime in Berlin. She’s getting close to Björn. Too close. He has to decide what to do about her. Kill her? Bribe her? Befriend her? He tries all three.
Episode 5: The daughter. Emily visits. She’s 16 now. She knows something is wrong. She doesn’t know what. Björn has to lie to her. It’s the hardest thing he’s ever done. Harder than killing.
Episode 6: The police close in. The detective has evidence. Not enough for an arrest. Enough to make Björn nervous. He considers running. He considers killing her. He meditates instead.
Episode 7: Everything falls apart. Betrayal from inside. Someone Björn trusted sells him out. The episode title is “Attachment.” That’s not a good sign.
Episode 8: The finale. Titled “Release.” Björn lets go of everything. His empire. His money. His attachments. He becomes free. Or he dies. Or both. The trailer doesn’t say.
Who’s in the Murder Mindfully cast?
Here’s the full Season 3 cast:
- Tom Schilling as Björn Diemel (the lawyer/mob boss)
- Emily Cox as Katharina Diemel (the ex-wife)
- Peter Jordan as Joschka Breitner (the lawyer/conscience)
- Murathan Muslu as Sascha (the mob enforcer)
- Britta Hammelstein as Nicole (the mindfulness teacher)
- Pamuk Pilavci as Emily Diemel (German voice, the daughter)
- Isis Chanel Chambers as Emily Diemel (English voice)
- Marc Hosemann as Toni (the mob rival)
- Johannes Allmayer as Möller (the detective)
Tom Schilling is the star. He’s been in Oh Boy, Never Look Away, The Same Sky. He’s a big deal in Germany. This show made him famous internationally. He deserves it. He’s incredible. He can be funny, scary, sad, and calm all in one scene.
Emily Cox plays the ex-wife. She was in The Last Kingdom (English speakers know her as Brida). She’s not in Season 3 much. Two episodes. Maybe three. But her scenes are the best. The tension between her and Björn is everything.
Peter Jordan plays Joschka. He’s the comic relief. Also the moral center. Also the most scared person in the room. He’s Björn’s lawyer. He knows everything. He’s terrified. But he stays. Loyalty. Or stupidity. Hard to tell.
Murathan Muslu plays Sascha. The enforcer. The one who does the dirty work. He’s loyal to Björn. But he’s also starting to question things. Season 3 gives him a big arc.
Britta Hammelstein plays Nicole. The mindfulness teacher. She’s the one who started all this. She taught Björn to breathe. To observe. To kill without emotion. She’s horrified at what she created. Season 3 makes her confront that.
Marc Hosemann plays Toni. New in Season 3. The rival mob boss. He’s charming. He’s ruthless. He’s also scared of Björn. That’s his weakness.
Johannes Allmayer plays Möller. Also new. The detective. The smart one. The one who might finally catch Björn. He’s not corrupt. That’s his strength. Also his weakness.
How to watch Murder Mindfully Seasons 1-2 right now?
Netflix. All seasons. Season 1 (2024). Season 2 (2025). Season 3 (June 4, 2027).
Languages: German audio. English subtitles. Also English dub. Also Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese. The dub is fine. The original is better.
Runtime: Season 1: 8 episodes x 30 minutes. Season 2: 8 episodes x 30 minutes. Season 3: 8 episodes x 30 minutes. Total: 24 episodes. 12 hours. Easy weekend binge.
If you haven’t watched it yet: Start with Season 1. Don’t skip. The show builds. Each season gets darker. You need the foundation.
If you watched Season 1 and 2 already: Rewatch before Season 3. The details matter. The mindfulness quotes come back. The characters reference past events. You’ll appreciate it more.
How will Murder Mindfully end?
The creator has said the ending was written before the beginning. He knows how it ends. He won’t say. But he’s given hints.
Hint 1: “The title is the key. Mindfulness is about letting go. Murder is about attachment. Björn has to choose.”
Hint 2: “The daughter is not a victim. She’s not a plot device. She’s a person. She has her own journey.”
Hint 3: “Not everyone gets what they deserve. Some people get worse. Some people get better. That’s life.”
My prediction (no spoilers, just guessing): Björn doesn’t die. He doesn’t go to prison. He walks away. He leaves Berlin. He leaves the mob. He leaves everything. He becomes a nobody. He meditates on a beach somewhere. His daughter visits him once a year. They don’t talk about the past. They just breathe. In. Out. That’s the ending. Peace. Finally.
Or he gets shot in the head in Episode 8 and the credits roll over his funeral. Could go either way.
Why Murder Mindfully still matters
Three seasons. A complete story. That’s rare on Netflix. Most shows get cancelled after two. Or stretched to six when they only had three seasons worth of ideas.
Murder Mindfully did it right. The creator had a plan. Netflix let him execute it. Now we get a real ending. Not a cliffhanger. Not a “maybe we’ll get renewed.” A real ending.
The show also does something unique. It combines mindfulness with murder. That sounds like a gimmick. It’s not. It’s a genuine exploration of detachment. Of being present. Of accepting what is.
Björn kills people. That’s wrong. The show doesn’t pretend it’s right. But it asks: why does he kill? Because he’s good at it. Because he’s calm. Because he doesn’t get attached. He’s a better killer than he was a lawyer.
That’s the tragedy. The thing he’s best at is the thing that destroys him.
Season 3 is the conclusion. Eight episodes. Four hours. Tom Schilling being brilliant. Emily Cox breaking your heart. Peter Jordan making you laugh when you shouldn’t.
Watch it. Breathe. In. Out. Then press play.

June 4. Friday. Björn Diemel’s final meditation. He’s killed a lot of people. He’s lost a lot of people. Now he has to face himself. No more distractions. No more excuses. Just him. His breath. And the choice he’s been avoiding for three seasons. What does he really want? Peace? Power? Forgiveness? Revenge? Watch and find out. But bring tissues. Someone’s not making it. And you’re going to cry. Even if you don’t think you will. Even if you’ve been practicing mindfulness. Some things hurt no matter how present you are. That’s the point. That’s the show.
