The self-righteous and not very popular expert investigator Evert Bäckström (Kjell Bergqvist) is required to work with his partner Ankan Carlsson (Agnes Lindstrom Bolmgren) tackle an investigation in which Bäckström’s arch-rival is murdered in mysterious circumstances. The investigation, which is extremely personal to Bäckström quickly draws him into a dark world of lies and the looming riches that is the mythical gold musical box. His life, too, is in danger.
It’s great fun to see Bäckström once more! Bäckström is just as rude and snooty as ever and has his own way of running. It’s not unusual to see him take the freedoms he believes will benefit him right now. You can steal coffee from the register If necessary, and be willing to lie! However, it is expensive to achieve the highest level and maybe he awakes in the morning with a long nose, claims Kjell Bergqvist on the eve of the upcoming season.
Prior to we had our “official talk”, we each had a chance to rant about the state of the world currently, however there are probably smarter individuals than me as well as Mr. Bergqvist that we should listen to regarding and from the Russians and the covid. If not, I’ll offer our candid chat; discussing everything that the old man feels very good (“for the age he is”) as well as the expanding variety of TV shows, “False identity” is absolutely fantastic, the last time it was with Sven Wollter – and the possibility of a the 3rd season on “Bäckström” to look forward to!
