The show focuses on an accomplished judge, Alicja Mazur (played by Agata Kulesza) who is suddenly charged with a crime she didn’t commit. She is taken to a the prison where she is forced to contend with women she had sentenced previously.
Investigation into Hepner is in progress. Prosecutor Sobecki as well as commissioner “Mario” Piotrowski are initially in a state of utter helplessness. Pati and Kosa’s steadfast support for Alicja stops the prosecution of the culprit. The police decide to change methods and release Alicja and Kosa from the detention center to a single unit in Zabrze.
Dorota Wojcik who is locked in a psychiatric prison she makes contact with Kraszecki. She asks him to write a biography of her as well as in the process, she refers to Alicja. Wiki arrives to Maria. She decides to be a witness. Mario discovers that Pati was not properly returned to prison. Mario decides to take advantage of this information to have Alicja to be convicted.

“Skazana” is very popular in the eyes of Polish viewers, which could be the reason why the premiere in the finale was synchronized with Max’s first appearance in Poland. It is important to note that the script for the show (mainly in the initial season) was influenced by Ewa Ornacka’s book entitled “Doomed to damnation.” Its author was involved in the development of the book alongside members of the Player team.
