Based on a True Story Storyline & Synopsis
The story follows an agent for real estate as well as a plumber and former tennis player, whose lives abruptly cross paths, and they seize a chance to profit from America’s fascination with crime. Cuoco is the character Ava Bartlett, a married woman in the brand-new Peacock series. The story follows the life of a realtor.
A happy couple not able to pay their bills just since they’re expecting their first child. Ava and Nathan, who is a former estate agent who became a tennis pro appear accustomed to the luxuries of life but aren’t sure how they will make it through the day. Both are unemployed and trying to find new job life is stressful enough, without worrying over their relationship with the West Side Ripper the local serial killer who is in hiding. As the death toll continues to rise, Ava – a true addict – is looking for a way to leverage her connection in one murder to start her own podcast on the murder.
Craig Rosenberg said, “Murderers were turned into celebrities, and celebrities became murderers. This inspired me to make this show. I was intrigued by the notion of a couple whose desires of their youth weren’t realized and they saw in this wave of true crime the chance to alter their circumstances and preserve their union. The scene that was Los Angeles – a city in which everyone wants to become famous served as the backdrop to our tale about fame, ambition, and even murder.”
