Beef Storyline & Synopsis
BEEF examines the result of a serious road rage incident between two people. Danny Cho, a failed contractor who is angry and resentful, faces off in a battle against Amy Lau, a self-made entrepreneur with a lavish lifestyle. As the competing interests of their fight grow more intense their lives and their relationships are deteriorating. In a thrilling scene, we watch the character of Wong Amy shooting at her phone in anger as Yeun’s character Danny is portrayed to possess the same euphoric traits as an addict to pyrotechnics.
The viewers will follow the tale of an unimportant argument that transforms into something dramatic. This concept was also inspired by an experience that was personal to the director of the show, Lee Sung Jin, after a minor car accident that took place 3 years ago! The series will focus on revenge as the main focus. However, emotions should be present in the show according to the press release issued by Netflix.
It follows the story of two strangers whose lives intersect following a car accident that pits them against one another. Steven Yeun stars Danny Cho who is a struggling employee and Ali Wong stars as Amy Lau an entrepreneur with a different name After Tuca and Bertie this is the second time that the two actors have collaborated for a Netflix project.
