Good Omens Storyline & Synopsis
The fun and quirky book of fantasy Good Omens celebrates the 30th anniversary of its publication today. Neil Gaiman, David Tennant, and Michael Sheen made sure that a celebration of this magnitude will not go unnoticed but they also joined the team who came up with an incredibly special video just for us to watch – Good Omens: Lockdown, that features the currently rife pandemic as the main subject.
It’s likely that you’ve read the book and, if you’ve watched its amazing adaptation on Amazon/BBC then don’t miss this video.
The only downside is that it’s small, and we aren’t able to see the primary actors, but just listen to their voices, when we consider the issue of social distancing and the actual situation surrounding this pandemic it’s evident that we don’t have new scenes featuring the enthralling people of the evil Crowley (Tennant) along with his best friend, angel Aziraphale (Sheen).
Gaiman said that this was precisely why he wanted the version to be the most perfect as it could be. He was adamant with the producers to include every scene that Pratchett had thought of regardless of the expense of the effects.
And He rewrote the final scenes by himself to make sure that the story was exactly as it was intended to be. and Pratchett liked her.
The antichrist, the riders of the apocalypse, and others of Gaiman as well as Pratchett’s literature templates were first shown in May of this year. Gaiman is the show’s creator the series.
The upcoming season is expected to incorporate some of their ideas into the brand-new story about Angel Aziraphel along with the demon Crowley who embarks on another adventure after rescuing the world from the apocalypse during the very first episode.
