Houses With History Storyline & Synopsis
The season begins by focusing on the renovation and restoration of a home built in the 1800s located in Fairhaven that was once a potting shed located on the Henry Huttleston Rogers estate. The show follows the lives of a Plympton couple that includes designer Jenn Macdonald, a history buff Mike Lemieux, owners of Full Circle Homes – and carpenter Rich Soares as they refurbish historic homes that are in disrepair in the South Shore. The home that was featured as last seasons oldest was built in 1666.
This series focuses on barns and houses constructed from the beginning of America and explores the fascinating history of America’s oldest houses. In addition, they will discuss the history of their homes and their stories of the renovation as well! The show features three Massachusetts natives who have committed their lives to historic real estate. They only came together after two decades, sharing a love of the real estate market and historical aspects.
