My Kind of Country Storyline & Synopsis
The show follows a group of skaters in their teens who want to become world-class roller dancers. Paris Johnson and her best friends Simone and Ari take the reigns of the Saturday of Rockin’ Roller Palace, Chicago’s skating rink, in the show. The fans of Noiratre will be pleased to learn they are not alone. Saturdays are produced by Marsai Martin who assumed the role of the executive producer while she was still in her teens.
This story Saturdays is centered around Paris Johnson, a young girl who’s been passionate about skating since she was of four. On Saturdays, she travels into the park, which is run by a former hip-hop artist in the 90s. With its bright neon lights and a dazzling ice rink and the ambiance that is a party on a Saturday, it’s the perfect spot to show off her talents.
In the series, it’s the title of the Ice rink as well as the hangout place where the protagonist, 13 years old Paris Johnson has been training since she was just 4 years of age. Saturdays will follow the preparations for Paris and skating competitions for the girl in her junior “We-B-Girlz” team, as along with the relationship she has with her parents and her brother. Fans of the show will be pleased to learn this Saturday’s series is being directed by Marsai Martin.
