Shetland Storyline & Synopsis
It is a BBC One murder mystery, follows Detective Inspector Jimmy Perez and his team when they investigate various homicides occurring on Shetland. The next stage of the investigation to find out the fate of a young boy, named Connor The team discovered the location of the boy’s safe home – a caravan situated in a remote area in the Shetland mainland.
But the discovery in the case brought Tosh who was as played in the film by Alison O’Donnell, into danger when she walked into the caravan and found out about bizarre sketches along with nautical charts.
After contacting DI Perez actor Douglas Henshall, to inform her of her findings Tosh observed huge electrical wires, chemical drums and a countdown timer. Henshall revealed last month that it was his last day on the show and said he was looking forward to playing the role of a “baddie” in the future, in the role detective Jimmy Perez was “irredeemably good”.

As DS Tosh is in charge as the acting DCI at Lerwick Police Station, detective Ruth Calder has come up from London to find an unidentified witness in a major crime. It’s just so that Calder is a Shetlander of the past who left the islands when she was teenagers and was thrilled to get rid of the area, only to be confronted by ghosts from the past.
