Tender Hearts Storyline & Synopsis
The enthralling female sci-fi comedy examines relationship models and the quest for love that is truly great in the present-day digital age. Friederike Kempter appears as the main character Mila. After several unsuccessful dates with males, she sets off on another adventure and then makes an order for “Friendly Bo” (Madieu Ulbrich) – the humanoid robot, also known as Lovedroid that will serve her as a love companion for the rest of her life.
Mila (Friederike Kempter) is a game programmer and single. She’s relocated to a stylish city home and is living the good life. There’s a certain frustration. Her most trusted friend and independent Toni (Vladimir Korneev) have a positive opinion of Mila’s attempts to date, but Mila is always afraid of becoming too close to her.
The sister Anja (Heike Makatsch) is irritated by her extraordinary success and high standards. Meanwhile, her parents have waited a long time for Mila to return to their “Mr. Juist” home. The world changes once Mila is offered a job. The company leases intelligent Lovedroids that are designed and programmed to keep their clients happy all the way. In the midst of all this, she joins “Friendly Bo” (Madieu Ulbrich) who becomes her companion from that point on, much to the delight of her family and friends. With Bo at her side, Mila begins to dream and rekindle her love for life.
