The Cupcake Guys Story
The show’s new reality series is based on ex-NFL teammates Michael Griffioen and Brian Orakpo together with the business associate Bryan Hynson as they trade for football jerseys in order to start their own cupcake business.
The Tennessee Titans’ former safety and linebacker had finished their season and decided to take on business. Instead of adopting the stoic approach, they observed other athletes investing in their businesses, Griffin and Orakpo took an approach that was more active with the cupcake business they opened. They were former players in the Pro Bowl. were enthralled by Nashville-based Gigi’s Cupcakes and, along with their longtime partner Hynson decided to open the shop within Austin, Texas, and together they formed”the” Cupcake Guys.
