The new series is written by the novelist Helen Walsh, who has written novels such as The Lemon Grove, Brass and Once Upon a Time In England. As for the storyline of the show the show follows Kelly (played by Eva Morgan) who is an “accomplished gymnast, on the National Team pathway”.
The novel was written by acclaimed author Helen Walsh (The Lemon Grove, Once Upon A Time In England) in her debut screenplay script for television, the pictures present the newcomer Eva Morgan as working-class student Kelly who is slain during a party that is a drug-dealing haze on a tidal island with Sadie Soverall (Saltburn) as Jessica who is a close colleague and friend of the elite gymnastics team who seems to have it all.
Filmed and filmed in Liverpool and the surrounding areas of Merseyside, The Gathering is ultimately a whodunnit, and, as in this instance the case of a why-why. It focuses on a set of teenagers with different personalities and their parents Each character has a reason for pursuing Kelly. A highly skilled gymnast, who is in the National Team pathway, Kelly adheres to a rigorous training regimen, but she finds an escape and freedom in the fun, uncontrolled environment of free running.
