Nacho Nieto, a journalist with a specialization in paranormal research and paranormal, is experiencing his most stressful personal and professional moments. Following a failed suicide attempt and his return to the world, he’s with the ghost of his mentor Dr. Estrada, a mythical psychic who passed away over twenty years ago.
Javier Ruiz Caldeira and Alberto de Toro director each of the 6 episodes that comprise El otro lado, a series of stories that balance horror and comedy with Sergi Vilanova in the cinematography. Berto Romero created and starred in the tale of the novel which will be released through Movistar Plus+ throughout 2023.
This show is technically more comprehensive than the work you put into it. Contact our directors for the same format as we did which is comprised of six episodes that are three minutes in length. The comedy and terror beforehand occur, but they also trigger spontaneous reactions.
A portion of the team agreed on the curiosity that the paranormal has triggered in them, and to which Nacho Vigalondo director of films like Los Chronocrimenes, was a key figure. In the same way, we believe that the method we’re working on the project isn’t popularly viewed. The Other Side is a ghost tale that began writing in 2020. It follows the tradition of these types of stories that have been adapted to fit the lens that our group.

For the comedy, we are following the same formula we found in the film ‘Look What You’ve Done The comedy is not imposed and is very naturalistic, letting the characters create this comedy through the conflict between them. For horror, we’re doing exactly what we did with the drama “Look What You’ve Done” by making sure to do the subject in the most genuine manner that we can.
