This Is Going to Hurt Story
The show is described as a love letter to the UK’s National Health Service, the show’s new version is based on the doctor of the future who was comedian Adam Kay’s humorous and often sad memories of his experience working for six years in an obstetrics & gynecology department. This Is Going to Hurt is set in the maternity unit in a hospital, where untrained health worker Adam (Whishaw) is struggling to live while his job can be a strain on his personal life. This Is Going to Hurt was written by Adam Kay ( Crims ) who was a doctor prior to his TV career. The series was based on his memoir of the same title.
