Yoshihiro Togashi’s cult blockbuster manga Yu Yo Hakusho” (published by Jump Comics) was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) for four consecutive years, beginning in 1990. The story begins with a shocking twist that sees the main character is killed in the very first episode. In a fantastic worldview, where the human, demon world, and spirit world are interspersed all of us have watched with awe the battles of appealing characters who battle each other with a strong belief. Thirty years have passed since the first time the legend was told.
“Yu Yu Hakusho”, which has won many fans across the globe is the first live-action show in a huge scale with an amazing ensemble cast. The latest information on the show has been released in a single announcement to the entire world. The teaser trailer’s debut along with teaser art and a new cast has been made public.
Kiyoshi Shiraishi will take on in the character of Keiko Yukimura who is one of the childhood friends to the protagonist Yusuke Urameshi (Takumi Kitamura) and Kotone Furukawa will take on his role as Botan as the guide who leads Yusuke to the spirit realm following his death due to an unintentional accident. A monster in search of his brother who has been missing for a long time. Ai Migami plays the role of the ice-woman Yukina.
Hiroya Shimizu will take on her role as Crow, a monster of the ruler class who, along together with the Toguro brothers, obstructs Yusuke and his companions, Keita Machida as well as Reiko Hado will portray Koenma the child of King Enma who provides instructions to Yusuke who has turned into a spirit-world detective. Meiko Kaji will take on the part of Genkai the first user, who serves as also the instructor to Yusuke as well as Kuwabara ( Shuhei Uesugi ).
