The Full Monty Storyline & Synopsis
The show follows the same gang who traverse Sheffield, a postindustrial town Sheffield and its deteriorating education, healthcare and work sectors. The comedy drama will show what transpired to the gang when they put on their clothes. The show will also explore the way in which the life of these heroes from the working class who live in Sheffield has changed over the last few decades.
The screenwriter of the original film, Simon Beaufroy, serves as the creator of the series as showrunner, showrunner, and executive producer along with Alice Nutter. The Full Monty gang returns 25 years later, and they swap their stage outfits for animal kidnappings, racing carriers birds, and a bizarre hostage-taking. The creator, co-writer director and co-writer Alice Nutter.
Writer, creator, and Executive Producer Simon Beaufoy said: It is one of the greatest pleasures in my career as a writer to gather this quirky and out of control family of Sheffield males and females and discover how 25 years, seven prime ministers, and 100 broken promises to the political have impacted their lives. “Obviously, the screenwriter will therefore send a fairly classic political message but which will speak to a number of spectators.”
