New 🌻 Summer 2026 TV Show Premiere

Live Countdown (EST)

On the Roam Season 3 release date

HBO Max just announced it. May 22, 2027. That’s a Saturday.

The show drops at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET. Evening time slot. Makes sense. This is a “crack a beer and watch Jason Momoa do cool stuff” kind of show.

Eight episodes. Forty-five minutes each. Season 3 is officially happening.

What is “On the Roam” Season 3 about?

Jason Momoa gets on a motorcycle. Or a truck. Or whatever has wheels. Then he drives around America looking for interesting people.

That’s the whole show.

Not in a bad way.

He finds craftsmen building weird furniture. Motorcycle guys making bikes from scrap metal. Musicians playing in garages. Athletes training in random warehouses.

Momoa doesn’t interview people like a journalist. He hangs out with them. Tries their tools. Usually gets dirty. Sometimes breaks something.

Season 3 apparently goes further off the map. Less California. More middle-of-nowhere. One episode is allegedly shot entirely in West Texas. Another in the Appalachian Mountains.

The show’s not trying to teach you anything. It’s just watching a famous guy be genuinely curious about other people’s obsessions. Works better than it sounds.

Are episodes released weekly or all at once?

HBO Max is dropping all eight episodes at once.

May 22. Everything available. Binge mode activated.

Some people like stretching it out. One episode a week. Makes it last longer. Other people watch the whole thing in one night. No judgment either way.

The show doesn’t really have cliffhangers so weekly vs all-at-once doesn’t matter much. Each episode stands alone. You can jump around.

How can I watch “On the Roam” Season 3?

HBO Max. That’s the only place.

Basic subscription works. No need for the 4K tier or whatever upcharge they’re pushing now.

The show is on the homepage the day it drops. Usually featured in the “new releases” row. Hard to miss.

If you don’t have HBO Max, they still do a free trial. Seven days. Plenty of time to watch eight episodes and cancel. Not that I’m recommending that. Just saying it’s possible.

Previous seasons are also on there if you need to catch up. Season 1 and Season 2 aren’t going anywhere.

When does “On the Roam” Season 3 come out?

May 22, 2027.

Saturday. Evening. 6 p.m. Pacific. 9 p.m. Eastern.

If you’re on the West Coast, you get it at dinner time. East Coast gets it late enough that you can watch an episode before bed. Or stay up and watch all of them. Your life. Your rules.

HBO Max usually releases things at midnight Eastern. But this one’s different. Prime evening slot. Probably because Momoa brings in viewers.

how to watch from Canada

Canadians have options. Sort of.

HBO Max isn’t directly available in Canada. But most of its content goes to Crave. Crave has the HBO deal up there.

On the Roam Season 3 should be on Crave the same day — May 22. Same episodes. Same runtime.

Check the Crave app around 9 p.m. ET. Should be there.

If it’s not? Sometimes there’s a delay. A day or two. Not usually longer than that.

VPN is another route. Set it to the US. Subscribe to HBO Max. Works fine. Crave is easier though. No extra steps.

On the Roam Season 3 trailers and clips

Full trailer is out. Dropped last week actually.

Shows Momoa on a vintage Harley somewhere in the desert. Then cutting to a blacksmith shaping metal. Then a guy playing slide guitar on a porch. Then Momoa falling off something. Standard stuff.

The trailer clocks in at two minutes and eleven seconds. Reveals at least five of the eight locations. Maybe too much information honestly. But that’s how trailers work now.

There are also short clips on HBO Max’s YouTube channel. Thirty seconds each. One shows Momoa trying to weld. Another shows him interviewing Mike Wolfe from American Pickers.

No official clips from the Billy Gibbons episode yet. That one’s being saved for closer to release. Smart move. ZZ Top fans will tune in just for that.

Search “On the Roam Season 3 trailer” on YouTube. Should be the first result. Over a million views already.

On the Roam Season 3 cast

Here’s who shows up this season:

  • Jason Momoa — Self / Host
  • Mike Wolfe — Self
  • Billy Gibbons — Self

Mike Wolfe is the American Pickers guy. They’ve been friends for years. Their episode is apparently just them driving around rural Iowa looking at old stuff. Low key. No drama.

Billy Gibbons is the guitarist from ZZ Top. That episode takes place in Texas. Momoa visits his garage. They talk about cars. Then Gibbons plays a song. That’s it. But it’s great.

Smaller guests appear in each episode too. The show doesn’t list them all upfront. Part of the fun is not knowing who shows up.

No celebrity guests for the sake of it. Everyone on the show actually makes or builds or does something. That’s the rule.

On the Roam Season 3 filming locations

Season 3 went everywhere.

Filming locations include:

  • Joshua Tree, California — Desert episode. Motorcycle builders.
  • Marfa, Texas — Art installations and open roads.
  • Nashville, Tennessee — Musicians episode. Not just country. Some punk stuff too.
  • Portland, Oregon — Metal workers and fabricators.
  • Asheville, North Carolina — Appalachian crafts. Woodworkers. Pottery.
  • Santa Fe, New Mexico — Native American artisans.
  • Detroit, Michigan — Car restorers. Old warehouses.
  • Somewhere in Kentucky — Bourbon episode. No joke. Momoa spends a whole episode with a distiller.

Season 1 was mostly West Coast. Season 2 went to the Midwest. Season 3 is all over. HBO Max gave them a bigger travel budget.

The Billy Gibbons episode filmed at his personal studio outside Houston. Not open to the public. Momoa posted a photo from there back in February. That’s how fans knew it was happening.
