Bay of Fires Storyline & Synopsis
The story centers the story around Anika Van Cleef, who is played by Marta Dusseldorp. Van Cleef, the matriarch of the business empire of her family, must flee to a remote village in Tasmania after multiple attempts to take over her life. Mystery Bay, far from being a tranquil retreat is a starkly remote nature reserve, far from all urban conveniences like tapas bars or street art.
The company she works for has been sacked and now in danger of being a victim, Stella has no option other than to take her family of four to a town that is the Tasmanian wilderness, a tiny community tense with simmering disputes as well as crime and, sometimes murder. Bay of Fires is a thriller with passion, dark humor, and a cast of characters who will transport viewers into the world of mystery, truffle pigs, and murder out of necessity.
The show is set in the wilderness in Tasmania, Bay of Fires is a story about the protagonist Stella Heineken (played by Dusseldorp) Her disappearance from grace is breathtaking as it is perilous. Marta has been an ABC favorite on our TV screens, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to help her transition into producing, directing, and acting in her own show. The show will feature Marta, Andrew, and Max as co-creators, we are sure that viewers will be treated to a thrilling experience in this thrilling thriller.
