Catching Lightning Storyline & Synopsis
Catching Lightning tells Murray’s story in his own words. It includes interviews with his daughter, wife, and close friends and mixed martial art legendary fighters Anderson Silva, Chuck Liddell, Pat Miletich, Tony Fryklund, and many more, many of who have not spoken publicly about the heist. The show vividly reveals the stunning heist and the investigation that made British news for months, using previously unreleased evidence, thrilling reconstructions of the scenes of the crime, and exclusive testimony from an assortment of rogues’ gallery detectives, conspirators, and lawyers to tell the story as it has never been told before.
The film follows the story of the legendary MMA fighter “Lightning” Lee Murray and his involvement in one of the most famous cash heists of all time. It features never-before-seen proof and dramatic reconstructions of the crime scenes, as well as extraordinary assertions by the rogues’ galleries of cops, conspirators, and lawyers.
