The film is set within the metropolis located in Sao Paulo, the plot is a study of the cultural and social differences of youth from the fringes and in the centers of cities, while at the same time, it focuses on love and grief, themes that are framed between two worlds entangled by a tangled mystery. In it, a marginal girl is able to penetrate the most exclusive school of Sao Paulo’s elite society to find a simple solution: Who killed her friend?
Max will be launching its brand new series for the national market Da Ponte Pra La , that is set within Sao Paulo and dealing with the differences in social status that happen in the biggest city in Brazil and especially when we contrast youth from the outskirts of Sao Paulo with the residents of the upscale areas in the city. The subject matter will be the story of a girl from a rural background who is able to infiltrate a prestigious school to determine who is the one responsible to the demise of her friend!
This story follows the adventures of a variety of characters who each have their own hopes, fears and secrets. From the poet’s young self looking for recognition, as well as the eminent business lady with a the truth about her dark past, each character is portrayed with a depth and complexities without slipping into stereotypes.
