Children Ruin Everything Storyline & Synopsis
This comedy show Children Ruin Everything is about having the worst roommates: the smallest children. Astrid ( Meaghan Rath ) and James struggle to balance the role of ” parents and moms ” for their 2 kids as well as the lives they lived before having kids. However, somewhere in the pee-stained, toy-filled ruins of their past lives, they’re able to find an alternative that’s quite nice, too.
In the beginning of the show, Astrid and James were raising their two infant youngsters, Felix ( Logan Nicholson ) and Viv (Mikayla Swaminathan) from the woods and Astrid was preparing to resume work. However, Astrid’s desire to have children gained the upper hand and the family was later expanded to include a new baby Andrew as Astrid was attempting to return to work while working.
In the show, in which she is also on the production team, Rath portrays the young mother Astrid. Alongside her husband James she is trying to reconcile her current motherhood with her previous self. For Astrid after her leave as a parent specifically, it’s being aware that she would like to return to work. However, although she’d prefer to leave behind her sweatpants that are covered in dirt as quickly as she can, she is finding it hard to get her eyes off of her two kids.
