Everyone Else Burns Storyline & Synopsis
The story is about an entire family living in Manchester, the English town of Manchester and being part of a tiny religious group which is which is a Puritan sect. The contrast between modern life and temptations and the threat of hell is the foundation of the storyline of the comedy Everyone Else Burns.
The Lewis family is split between the motivations of religion and contemporary between the anxieties of youth and passions, set against the backdrop of sermons and devotion to religion. On the second series of the show, Rachel (Amy James Kelly) appears to be searching for new stimulation, whereas some of the characters from the past return to cause chaos. Rachel is seeking independence however, her path will not be easy. As Aaron (Harry Conner) will attempt to be a revolutionary idea, David (Simon Bird) will strive to be a better dad.
Simon Bird (The Inbetweeners, Friday Night Dinner) proves yet again that he’s grown-up, but he’s also a great actor. Simon Bird is the main character in this comedy that is a hit and he performs his dialogue with a delicious zing. David as his character is, therefore, the father of a family that doesn’t believe the fact that his children are part of in modern society (the hilarious scene in which David is scathing about his daughter’s behavior because she gets only A’s in school).
