Land Of Women is a series that stars Eva Longoria as Gala, Gala, a New York woman whose children have fled home. Her life turns upside down when her husband is involved in his family members in financial mischief which forces Gala to leave the city along with her elderly mother and her teenage daughter.
The tale of two sisters who have to leave New York after their husband and father’s financial matters are ruined. In the small, sun-drenched wine town, they’re confronted with family secrets, as well as hired killers.
Land of Women follows Gala ( Eva Longoria ), the wife of a successful New Yorker, whose life changes when loan sharks are pursuing her, specifically due to her dues. With the threat of being killed not just for herself as well as her mother and daughter, Gala decides to flee to Spain together with them, but without ever telling her mom (Carmen Mary Maura) or her daughter (Victoria Bazua) the truth about.
Three women are hiding in a town of a small size in Spain where Gala’s mother escaped away from fifty years ago. They vowed never to return. However, they are now forced other than to attempt to start new with the hope that their identities will never be revealed. Of course, for women used to urban life it will be an enormous problem, and the locals are likely to begin drawing conclusions.
