Luann and Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake Storyline & Synopsis
With a tiny population, a hot climate, and an annual “testicle festival,” there is plenty of women to do. Also, it seems many men to fling with. Have fun. The show features Luann de Lesseps as well as Sonja Morgan from Real Housewives of New York. The two “are trading the Big Apple for small-town America,” Bravo announces in a press release.
“In Benton, Illinois, the city council will surprise residents by inviting RHONY alums Luann de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan to help spruce up their small town — which has a population just shy of 7,000 — that was devastated by the pandemic,” The two appear as fish from the water, to speak, as they trawl for crappie, mud and get their hands in a building project, and bring the “big guns” by recruiting the singer Paula Abdul for help.
Akin to “The Simple Life” and “Schitt’s Creek” comes a comedy social experiment featuring two members of The Real Housewives of New York. The duo will take on their roles and immerse themselves in a life/work experience unlike any other. The Simple Life, and the sitcom Schitt’s Creek, Welcome to Crappie Lake will showcase Luann and Sonja as they have never seen before. From the Big Apple to a small town, these best of friends and urbanites will put on their sleeves for this brand-new series.
