Muted Storyline & Synopsis
The showrunner has returned following the Entrevias phenomenon, with the psychological thriller as well as a miniseries where the main character is released six years after killing his parents. El silencio Aka Muted tells the story of Sergio Ciscar (Aron Piper) who is released six years after the murder of his parents while the time was when he was still in the midst of being a minor. Since then, Sergio has not said a word or cooperated with the justice system, which means the motives behind the crime and his future motives remain unanswerable.
“El Silencio follows a lonely person who is imprisoned for years because of the death of his parents. However, he hasn’t spoken any word since that incident and no one is able to determine the reason he committed this crime or if remains an enigma to himself and to the rest of society. And that’s only a small part of the issue. Gabilondo’s intention was to reveal the frights we create when we don’t take care of things.
Anna Castillo takes us into a dystopian future in which an individual tries to escape a nation in war. Within the entire series, “El silencio is the most notable, the latest one written is written by Aitor Gabilondo after creating ‘Patria” from the novel written by Fernando Aramburu. The goal is to create an approach to working towards your personal satisfaction and health through the most humane aspect of the mystical.
