Lucky Hank Storyline & Synopsis
“Lucky Hank” is based on the book known as ‘Straightman’ by Richard Russo. The series centers around a professor at the university William Henry who is in an unsettling midlife crisis. The issue is caused by unresolved problems with his father as well as a weak student population and it is evident that the department seems more divided than that of the Balkans. In an entire, complex week the student threatens to kill ducks, gets one of his nostrils cut by feminist poets, and discovers that his secretary has a better writing style.
It is an eight-part series based on the Richard Russo book Straight Man. Odenkirk takes on the role in the character of William Henry Devereaux Jr. also known as Hank. He is the department chair at an unfunded university located in Pennsylvania. Hank goes through a well-known midlife crisis, and “specializes in petty quarrels as well as minor anger.” The other side of Odenkirk is Mireille Enos who is Hank’s spouse.
The final Odenkirk collaboration with AMC after having worked with them for 7 years working on the Breaking Bad prequel series Better Call Saul. He is the head of the English department in a boring college. Instead of adjusting to the needs of his students the professor only says what he believes — and it is awe-inspiring to all.
