The Surrogacy Storyline & Synopsis
It is the story of an indigenous young woman who leases her baby to a wealthy family. In the years to come the main character will realize that the information she had was told about pregnancy wasn’t factual. As a result of her discovery, she’ll doubt the value of her mother while she experiences a life filled with contradictions in the backdrop of a society rife with of preconceptions.
The story is about Maria a girl born into poverty who requires money to help her father save his life. The film will delve into a topic that causes controversy around the globe. Although there are a lot of people who choose this method which in Argentina isn’t illegal, there are a lot of concerns about what rights women have when they donate their bodies on the table, either as donors or pregnant mothers.
Maria is willing to undergo an in vitro fertilization process and then give birth to the baby when the baby is born. In the years to come, she discovers that everything that she heard about her pregnancy was untrue and that the baby she had inside her womb is her own child. Also, we can witness the love story that develops from the love between Maria as well as Alejandro.
