Monsters at Work takes place after the events from the Monsters Inc. movie. The story is a bit different this time around. Sully and Mike aren’t the primary characters but they will be present in the show! John Goodman (Sully) and Billy Crystal (Mike) will once more be the voices for the characters.
The storyline of the series revolves around Tylor Tuskmon. He is looking to be part of Monsters Inc. come to work and become the brand new “scarer”. But, he finds out that Monsters Inc. no longer scares children, but instead is a source of laughter! This is why he is drafted into the department of facilities as a mechanic. you work with a bunch of oddballs. While there, he attempts to develop the skills to become a fool.
The show is set after The 2001 Pixar film, as well as the sequel movie Monsters University (2013). Goodman and Crystal will be back in the role of Sully and Mike in the end. Jennifer Tilly can be heard as the girlfriend of Mike Celia as well. John Ratzenberger returns as the Yeti. The role is being played by Ben Feldman, who plays an opportunist named Tyler Tuskmon. What exactly the character looks like is not yet known.
