The story takes place in 2005, right in the middle of a city within the Paris suburbs that are racked by violence and which is where the Jebli family controls the market for cannabis. As tensions rise within the neighborhood and a major drug deal takes down the Jebli family. Driss (Adam Bessa) is the youngest of the clan, is required to take over control of the family’s business, thus renegating his plans to pursue an accounting career.
In the meantime, William (Noham Edje) an ambitious and young local police officer, has set himself the task of taking his boss down. Their uncanny parallel ascent propels to an unanticipated destiny.
Booba’s debut on screen. He is a rapper from Hauts-de-Seine is currently working on the show Ourika , a novel Booba himself wrote as well as a show in which Booba appears as the role of a character. Recently, a clip of the rapper who could be recording Ourika in Tunisia was posted on the Internet. We can see him with in a trance, with his arms crossed and being surrounded by men with guns and women, a description that is consistent with the world that the show is supposed to offer.
