In the film ‘Percy Jackson and The Olympians the twelve-year-old modern demigod Percy Jackson, is just getting used to his god-like power when the god of the sky Zeus is accused of taking his lightning bolt. With the help of his two friends Grover as well as Annabeth, Percy must embark on the journey of a lifetime to locate the lightning bolt and bring the order of Olympus.
It is the story based upon the books with the same title by author Rick Riordan who collaborated closely with producers of ‘Percy Jackson’ and the Olympians’ series to ensure that he had the right books. to make them come alive. With his companions Grover along with Annabeth, Percy embarks on the journey to locate the artifact that was stolen and bring the order of Olympus.
The acclaimed creator who wrote Percy Jackson, Rick Riordan has collaborated closely with his creative team as well as the producers Jon Steinberg and Dan Shotz to bring his works to life and produce an ongoing series that is true to his ideals for the heroic characters who created a cult following of millions. The book lovers love and adore the characters they know and love. Two episodes of the first season were written by Riordan and Steinberg and directed by James Bobin.
