Special Ops: Lioness Storyline & Synopsis
The show comes from Academy Award nominee Taylor Sheridan who was the producer behind the smash success Yellowstone as well as a number of original Paramount+ series, such as the Yellowstone spin-offs 1923, 1883, Mayor of Kingstown starring Jeremy Renner, and Tulsa King with Sylvester Stallone. Special Ops: Lioness is an adaptation of a real-life program that features female undercover agents.
The realm of Lioness is in an ethical gray area, which highlights the risks of a covert operation. The story is based on actual events however, the plot isn’t based on particular incidents. Alongside featuring the stars of the show The Special Ops: Lioness trailer introduces the aforementioned military program directed by Kaitlyn Meade (Nicole Kidman) and Donald Westfield (Michael Kelly).
Special Ops: Lioness is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios. The show is based on an actual American military show. You follow the adventures of Joe (Saldana) as she attempts to reconcile her professional and personal life. It’s not an easy task, however when she’s caught in the middle of the government’s war on terror.
