The Dessert Storyline & Synopsis
Bruce McCulloch of THE KIDS IN THE HALL brings you the new version of Canadian sketch comedy, with an all-out, boundary-pushing adventure to the very edge of morality. The show stars Isabella Campbell, Shane Cunningham (co-creator) and Jillian Smart along with music and the theme written by executive producer Max Kerman (Arkells), The Dessert is an audacious and fast-paced celebration of absurdity. It is being hailed as bringing the new wave of Canadian comedy, nothing else is known about the show so far.
The show stars Jillian Smart Isabella Campbell and Shane Cunningham The new television series, co-produced with McCulloch, Kerman and Arkells Right-hander, Ashley Poitevin — will join the streaming company’s sketch comedy lineup in the coming months. Cunningham is also creator of The Dessert, and is one of the hosts of The Best Hang podcast with Kerman.
