Guilt Storyline & Synopsis
The dark comedy thriller follows two brothers, Max and Jake trying to hide their tracks after they accidentally hit an elderly man following the wedding. The second series after his release, Max is given the possibility of avoiding more prison time by teaming up with a shady detective. She promises him freedom as a condition for revealing information about his infamous enemy Roy Lynch, but can she be trusted? Guilt was praised by the press.
Two Edinburgh brothers are snared by an elderly man. After he passes away the brothers flee in terror and try to cover their tracks. It initially appears that the criminals will succeed in their escape. However, as time goes by it becomes more and more impossible to hide their activities from being revealed. They also are increasingly combative.
As the story progresses, the brothers’ struggles increase and the story expands to introduce additional characters and storylines with a narrative focus on guilt. As the show progresses the brothers’ struggles grow and the story is able to reveal additional characters and storylines in a narrative theme of guilt.
