The Vanishing Triangle Storyline & Synopsis
In the story of “The Vanishing Triangle,” journalist and investigative reporter Lisa Wallace (Mullen) publishes an article on her mother’s death, which causes her disappearance. Amy Reynolds. Alongside detective David Burkely (Leech), they work together to track down Amy.
Their investigations span across Ireland which is where more girls disappear. As they investigate each case, some lead to dead ends, and yet the perpetrator plays psychological games with Lisa and places her in dangerous situations. The closer they are to the killer and the closer they get to him, they learn more David and Lisa discover the long-running corruption that has plagued the Gardai system.
To hide their tracks To cover their tracks, Gardai members bribe David with their own personal secrets. The trail of investigation eventually takes Lisa to the killer who confronts them once more after many years. At the final moment, Lisa has to confront the trauma of her childhood to find the girls missing.
The concept behind the series of thrillers is based upon real-life incidents in which a number of women abruptly disappeared forcibly from Ireland during the 1990s and 1980s, and have never returned until today.
