Eva ( Tuva Novotny ) doesn’t believe in love. She decides to go for a visit to Copenhagen for the purpose of having a child independently at an ophthalmology clinic. She picks an open donor for sperm, Mads (Joachim Fjelstrup) who appears perfect. However, the night before the insemination she is unable to not help wondering about whether she’s made a good decision, so she secretly looks him up. He is very normal, friendly and charming Danish man who doesn’t appear to be psychopath. In all honesty, could you get more than this?
Eva is back home in Stockholm happy, and now has a tiny embryo inside her stomach. However, Mads is unable allow Eva go following their encounter in an establishment. After a few months the pair meet again Eva at Stockholm. Then life gets very difficult and Eva’s lies increase with the speed at which the baby’s belly increases.
The – Eva is obsessed with her need to control and fear of the unexpected but because life is usually full of only a couple of surprises that she can’t handle, her entire world falls apart. She has no resources to utilize in the event of this, according to Tuva Novotny.
