Average Joe Storyline & Synopsis
“Average Joe” follows plumber Joe Washington (Deon Cole) who finds out that his father who died recently was living a devious second life and stealing billions of dollars in cash from suspicious people before his death. They now are convinced that Joe knows the location of the money, and an unsettling, violent fight triggers a series of events that force Joe and his circle of friends from their ordinary and routine lives and into a race of death and life… find the truth and to find the millions. The show was inspired by Robb Cullen’s life. Robb Cullen.
The show was written in collaboration with Robb Cullen as well as McG who were inspired by Cullen’s own life and created by Cullen. Tammy Townsend plays Angela Washington Joe’s beloved wife who suffers from a debilitating illness, and Malcolm Barrett portrays Leon Montgomery Joe’s closest friend and a somewhat unhappy proprietor of a hardware shop. The show is described as a “dark comedy” by producers Robb Cullen and McG.
Tammy Townsend plays Angela Washington her husband Joe’s beloved wife who suffers from a nagging disease. Despite the illness, she is able to work shifts as a waitress in order to take care of her family. She sees in Joe how hard he has worked for them as well as their daughter, Jennifer and regards him as a true man until he arrives home to corpses in the back of his pickup.
