The half-hour comedy is a story about The Williams family, who are engaged in celebrating many of life’s biggest events with its party and party venue in Chicago. But when they are involved in their own family gatherings, there appears to be a greater need for a referee than DJs. Columbus Short (“Scandal,” “Stomp the Yard”), Drew Sidora (“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” “That’s So Raven”), Rolonda Watts (“Rolonda”) and singer/radio host Bebe Winans are the main actors in the cast of the ensemble.
As with many small-scale companies, the once prosperous 30s and older lounge run by Lucille Williams (Played by Watts) suffered a major epidemic, causing her to shut down. Lucille’s brother-in-law, Henry (Winans), was not content to let Lucille’s Place go under So he sought out his fraternal twins Aaliyah (Sidora) along with Alfonso (Short) to run the business as the family. With Aaliyah’s creativity and Alfonso’s business savvy an environment that was safe to plan and host events was created. The wife of Alfonso, Kimberly as well as son Alfonso Jr. (A.J. ) (A.J.) group that is planning the event.
In fact, Aaliyah is the one to have their preferred relatives, Mia, join the group; she’s an expert in all things which is what she believes. While the brand new and improved “Lucille’s” brings everyone together but their activities can cause an even bigger mess than a frat party at college.
