Morimoto’s Sushi Master Storyline & Synopsis
Most well-known as one of the Iron Chefs Morimoto is set to serve as an expert host on the program, and it is the first cooking competition solely about sushi. It will be broadcast via the Roku channel Morimoto’s Sushi Master will have six episodes, and will feature eight chefs from all over the country, competing in a variety of competitions that range from preparing whole fish into a meal to operating an automated sushi conveyor which is known as Kaitenzushi.
The winner will be awarded an amount of cash equivalent to $25,000. In addition to Morimoto as judges are the author of cookbooks and creator of content Kenji Lopez-Alt, as well as Chef Dakota Weiss. The show is directed by Marvel’s Runaways star Lyrica Okano. The six-episode show focuses on the skills, ingredients as well as the delicacy and skill required to master the art of making sushi.
Eight sushi chefs from around the world will compete to impress Morimoto together with the judges chefs Dakota Weiss, Executive Chef of Santa Fe’s famous Coyote Cafe as well as Chef Kenji Lopez-Alt, Co-owner and co-sponsor of Sweetfin Poke, New York Times food columnist, and the author of the best-selling Cookbook The Food Lab. The show is produced through Ample Entertainment, Ari Mark, Kathryn Vaughn, Phil Lott, Liz Cook and Masuhira Morimoto are the executive producers.
