Hoffman Family Gold Storyline & Synopsis
Prospector for gold Todd Hoffman stopped disillusioned with seven projects in 2018but is now determined to try again. A friend purchased a piece of property in Alaska however, he hasn’t even brought any gold to the surface. Todd is brought into the area like lightning, but his time is short and he’s king. Winter is only 6 weeks from now. In this new reality show the prospective prospector Todd Hoffman is given six weeks to find enough gold in the earth in Alaska. If he succeeds, he’ll get mine rights over the course of 10 years. So no time to lose.
Following last year’s struggles which were highlighted by severe weather, damaged equipment, and a shaky crew that could not work the lucrative paydirt, “Gold Rush” legend Hoffman returns to the Alaskan Mammoth Valley Mine to mine 1,000 ounces gold in order to make profits as well as pay back his $750,000 debt.
But, there’s a brand new obstacle on the mine site this year: Hunter. Todd’s son is fed up of receiving orders from his father and will go to any lengths to prove he’s got the skills and experience required to run his own mine regardless of the immense demands. Hunter takes on the entire season, as he tries to take on his father’s mining business.
