SmartLess: On the Road Storyline & Synopsis
In the wake of the announcement of the change in the name to Max Streaming, Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett are taken for an excursion in the latest trailer to Smartless: On the Road. The docuseries, which runs for six episodes, follows three of them on the North American tour of their very popular podcast for interviews. Smartness.
It is described as a truly thrilling ride that offers an inside look at the conversations that take place between hosts prior to and after they perform with their famous guests. It shows the struggles they go through as they travel across six different cities. The trailer focuses on the entire journey from the plane ride to hotel rooms and even meetings featuring a range of famous faces.
Beginning at the peak of the epidemic, Smartless has earned a devoted fan base throughout its time thanks to the award-winning host as well as its simple but effective method. In every episode, a host invites a mysterious guest to engage in a chat about shared experiences as well as their lives.
In an effort to educate both the audience as well as Bateman, Hayes, and Arnett about the stories of individuals from every walk of life from politicians to athletes or fellow actors, and much more. The trio is also able to bring their unique style of fun on the stage, allowing an ideal setting for lively banter.
The trailer features the hosts taking their initial idea to the next level when they embark on a tour with famous guests such as the late-night legend David Letterman and beloved actor Will Ferrell, the latter of whom arrives wearing a beautiful dress to mark the event. The tour takes them from Boston up to Brooklyn, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Madison, and Los Angeles, they not just enjoy live shows, but also the surroundings as they take pleasure in their surroundings and the sound while they travel.
Their behind-the-scenes antics are on full display as they scurry around their hotel rooms, crack jokes during car rides, and enjoy some heart-attack-inducing bland food. Sam Jones directs the six-part docuseries Smartless: On the Road that premieres on May 23rd exclusive to Max.
