The Curse Storyline & Synopsis
The show, created by and starring Tom Davis – is set in the 80s and is about a group of naughty criminals as they try to steal a valuable item. It’s 1985, and several of the unlikely living in Spain’s sunny Costa Del Sol, then a safe place for UK Criminal due to the absence of an extradition agreement that binds Britain as well as Spain. In the meantime, Big Mick is in prison waiting to be tried, getting the attention of being the main suspect in the biggest gold heist in history.
The show tells the tale of a happy-go-lucky group of friends including Albert (Allan Mustafa), Sidney (Steve Stamp), Mick (Tom Davis), and Phil (Hugo Chegwin) and Phil (Hugo Chegwin) who are in the middle in the east end’s criminal underworld in the early 80s. A few days later, over some drinks, Sidney explains that he’s received a new security job and suggests it’s an excellent opportunity. If you leave the door open and then turn away, the gang will be able to accomplish a very successful burglary.
“Albert along with Tash have invested the cash from the gold into an enticing hotel and restaurant business while Sidney using the brand new alias of ‘Andrew” runs a bar at the beach. In the meantime, Big Mick (Tom Davis) is in prison, awaiting his trial, and is enjoying the fame and recognition that comes from being connected to the largest gold theft in the history of the world and Phil “The Captain” Pocket (Hugo Chegwin) has died.
